Meet Liz Lucarelli
Liz Lucarelli, LCMHC, RPT-S, BCC
Director of Adult Programming
Liz Lucarelli is a licensed clinician, coach, and co-founder of The Field Group. She brings a dynamic blend of clinical expertise, relational depth, and creative engagement to her work with individuals and families navigating complexity and change. Liz is deeply committed to helping people understand themselves more fully and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
Throughout her career, Liz has partnered with hundreds of young people, parents, and professionals across a range of clinical and developmental contexts. Her work is grounded in a systems-oriented perspective and informed by deep respect for the emotional, relational, and developmental forces that shape families over time. She is known for creating spaces that feel structured and human, where curiosity, insight, and growth unfold naturally.
Liz’s approach blends strong clinical intention with a playful, curious, and authentic relational style. She incorporates creative and experiential modalities to help clients build awareness, strengthen skills, and reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been overlooked. At the heart of her work is a belief that lasting change emerges when people feel seen, supported, and able to recognize their own strengths.
Liz is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), and a Board-Certified Coach (BCC). She has extensive training in trauma, attachment, child development, play therapy, and sand tray, allowing her to work with families in ways that are developmentally attuned, relationally responsive, and grounded in best practices.
Outside of her professional work, Liz values learning, exploration, and travel. She is an avid long-distance runner who completes multiple ultramarathons each year and travels internationally whenever she can.
