Meet JD Daubs

Managing Director

JD Daubs earned his undergraduate degree in Business and Finance at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama. Shortly thereafter he began working directly with students who were struggling with emotional and behavioral issues at a therapeutic boarding school. He quickly realized that working with struggling teens and their families was his true calling in life.

JD’s passion for helping those in need has been a distinguishing characteristic throughout his career. His approach is genuine, dedicated, and authentic, and he has spent two decades building and maintaining close relationships with treatment programs, clinical staff, and therapeutic professionals across the country. His experience includes directing admissions, facilitating marketing, managing referral relations, and developing business strategy for a variety of outdoor behavioral healthcare programs. He brings to The Field Group a vast knowledge of the therapeutic industry, a passion for helping others, and a strong connection to members of the treatment community.

JD currently lives outside Asheville, North Carolina with his wife, Carlyn, and his two children, Turner and Lawson. In his spare time, he enjoys competitive cycling. He also enjoys any chance to sharpen his culinary skills. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his family.
